Beautiful hand woven thick shag rugs made from 100% New Zealand wool, using mill spun yarns. Made in India, the yarn is locally dyed in the traditional Vat Dying method. Before the first wash, the back of each rug is mildly burnt with hand-held flame emitting stoves. The rugs are given two rounds of rigorous washing, to provide the softest comfort underfoot. The finishing process includes hand shearing, with a unique and exaggerated one sided tassel fringe. Each tassel is twisted and rolled by hand into bunches with a knot tied at each end, for a unique hand-crafted appeal.

For cleaning your specific area rug, it’s always best to check the manufacturers guidelines, often found on a care label on the underside of a rug. For liquid spills, quick action is essential in order to keep a permanent stain from setting into the rug. For liquid spills, use a clean, undyed cloth and press firmly around the spill, absorbing as much as possible. NEVER RUB! This will cause the stain to set deeper into the rug, making it harder to remove and increasing the likelihood that it will remain. For difficult to remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
